Weight

Poetry on breakup

Your Love was pure and sublime
Till it talked of my dreams
Which sparkled in the eyes
But the weight grew
When you added
Some of yours
Straining my eyes
Wetting my lashes
Draining some tears
Until I confessed
Now it hurts
So you were gone
Cursing me
Molesting me
Condemning me
But my eyes rejoiced
Feeling lighter
Much lighter
