Nvidia is selling Personal AI Supercomputer worth $3000

Now since many companies and individuals are trying their hand at open-source AI, Nvidia seizes this opportunity by introducing an AI supercomputer for personal use, named Digits (deep learning GPU intelligence training system).

Nvidia is known for its innovation in graphics processing units (GPUs), AI, computing, metaverse and high-performance computing. It continues to expand its AI market with many new and inspiring offerings.

The new machine, Digits, which is as compact as a small book contains an Nvidia “superchip” called GB10 Grace Blackwell. The chip offers faster computations needed to train AI models. The memory space is also huge with 128 gigabytes of unified memory and up to 4 terabytes of NVMe storage for large AI programs. The sale with start in May with a minimum price of $3000.

This will empower the data scientists, researchers, start-ups and students to explore and experiment capabilities of AI. With Digits, they can run single large LLMs with around 200 billion parameters without needing any separate cloud services. Also, they can combine two machines to run most capable open source LLM of Meta which takes around 400 billion parameters.

Further, Nvidia plans to launch various other software tools for developing and integrating AI agents – LLMs based programs which can replace human beings in various mechanical tasks such as Nemotron. These agents are top trending models of AI which companies are pursuing to save cost and increase efficiency.

With large scale adoption of AI agents at global levels, the IT department of every company will become the HR department of AI agents. And people will be experimenting with AI tools like they play video games!

So, the future generation will be productive & advanced but equally treacherous.
