Best Poems on Relationship

I was a tenuous thread
woven into a fabric of love
So the naked desires found
A cover of warmth
I was tightly knot
To tie the disparate fragments
Of unfulfilled hearts
So they held a promise
Of eternal devotion
I was strung
To the kite of expectations
So it soared in the sky
Along my increasing length
And unrelenting balance
They dipped me in different shades
Of blue, red, purple and black
And rubbed me between
The course canvas of their bodies
To make beautiful paintings
Of their togetherness
Then I was broken
In one stroke of anger
And a fit of fear
So the cloth was torn
And the hearts fell apart
The kite lost its flight
And the painting was spoiled
Leaving behind
My two broken ends
