Book Reviews – Breaking through loss

Best Self-help Books

Dedicated to people who experienced some kind of loss in their life, the novel, ‘Breaking through loss’ by Lynn Hope Thomas starts with a heart-touching poem whose one of the very intriguing one liners is – “It takes courage to weep and courage to smile”.

The beginning marks the various losses which the author, Lynn faced during the course of forty years of her life. One of the overwhelming losses was the death of her twin sisters when she was small. Ever since, series of miseries kept taking place including unsuccessful relationships, failed marriages and financial troubles.

But more than just storytelling, the book enlightens people about ‘self-discovery’. It is based on the implementation of a scientific solution – ‘The Demartini Method’ which the author claims to have transformed her life.

It sets an example of a miraculous transition from a hopeless situation to a bright future and is inspiring for the same reason.

“Whatever we have not learned to love, will be repeated until we love it”.
