Welcome Life

You are meant for changes that bother,

sometimes, a dead end doesn’t let me go further.

Still, you teach, you give lessons of utter significance,

In your depth, lies the true essence of one’s magnificence.

You may be at times bitter,

Not to harm but to cure and to foster.

I am willing to know you more,

Whatever changes you are full of, unseen, unrevealed, bring them all.

With sheer courage, faith and a twinge of curiosity,

I open my arms for you, and your diversity.

Wherever you take me, or, whatever happens next,

I would laugh, I would cry, in every context.

The sensual world conceives relationships new,

People get committed with people with countless promises due.

With you still, just one promise I lay,

That ‘I will make you more beautiful every day’.

Your ‘sharp turns’ I would take as my joyful ride,

Albeit there may not be a single person by my side.

While dropping into the sea of death from your twisted slide,

I will scream out with joy, “I enjoyed the ride”.

I respect you, I adore you, howsoever blue,

Hey my lovely life, I always welcome you.

What do you think?
