The Sand and the Wave
Romantic Poetry on Sea
From the depths of
The sea
A disturbance awoke
Growing outside
Slowly and slowly
With rising force.
Crossing each layer
Of my deepest core
It emerged as
Bundle of waves
Which touched
The Sand
Of your shore
The waves
Are my energy
My soul, me
And the sand
Is your essence,
Your love, you.
The two met
As entangled threads
Adhering to the Earth
During the
Short most
Second of infinity
The waves gathered
As much
Of your sand
As to not return empty
But get laden with
Your bits
To entirety
Scattered,
Crestfallen
Defeated
By the sea
But to retain me
You, the sand
Still smiled
From the shore
Which was now
Soaked
In my water
As a whole
Oh! dear sand
We both wanted to
Be together
-Dissolved
Into one another
No denial,
The retreat is essential
Defined by the norms.
Lest the sea shall dry
And
The shore shall sink
Only If we
Cling for long
