Language of the Universe

Do you think that a trivial incident is enough to give you a momentary realization of the power of the cosmic energy that fills and surrounds all of us? Though I hold no authority to claim anything without an evident scientific data, but an abstract idea of my experiences tells that we are all connected through some strange invisible bonds because we have the same set of feelings, the similar pattern of thoughts and typical stimuli-response relationships. The invisible bond can be realized at any moment, with anyone in the form of instant feelings such as attraction, empathy, or uncontrolled thoughtfulness on seeing a completely unknown person.
One morning, I came across one such person in a confectionary shop who I asked for some candies to keep along my way to office. She was any normal shopkeeper in her forties wearing simple salwar kameez, covering her head with the dupatta. Strangely enough, she gave me more than I asked for. Busy in searching for the wallet in my purse, I clarified that I asked for fewer candies, but in a soft voice did she murmur, ‘it’s okay’. Rendered slightly puzzled at the gesture of such generosity, I anyway made the payment lifting my eyes up at once before leaving.
That was when I got the first glimpse of her eyes – deep and serene, betraying strange longing, as if bespeaking of some mysteriously sad story. Like a magic trick of witchcraft, a quick glance into her eyes changed the entire route of my thoughts. I left the place but during my walk ahead, I kept wondering about that unspoken story which a stranger was trying to tell me through her eyes. If it was about poverty, she would not be least bit generous to me. But it could be about her suppressed ambitions which she once sacrificed in the name of family and social obligations as it happens with more than half of the young population. Else, it could be the death or illness of a loved one. There are so many possible stories behind the emotions which I just saw in a pair of expressive eyes, though could not read clearly.
The next day, I got a little late, and so I hailed a rickshaw, but half – way past, I had to get down because of the heavy jam. Ironically, I found the same lady cleaning the street outside her shop. As she looked upon at me, her sadness and longing seemed to return back with the same set of confusing stories. Why was it happening?
Is this what Paolo Coehlo called the ‘Aleph’- a point where everything, or one can say, the whole universe is contained?
I believe that love of the Universe is not limited to a particular thing, or person. One can get the feeling of love anywhere, anytime, with anyone and anything that exists because it’s omnipresent for the divine energy is always there. Only that we feel it at certain times. We are all connected in some way or the other having been emerged from the same source, whatever one calls it -an atom or a cell.
Eyes speak the language of the universe in the form of unsaid words. That’s why they are windows to the soul. When one’s emotions or feelings become so intense that they start overflowing, aleph is created which when goes intense may come out in the form of tears. But to read these words in someone’s eyes, one needs to be on the same frequency as the other person.
I hope that I find that overflow of extreme emotions in everyone’s eyes for they never lie. I pray that every soul of the universe tells the stories of its lifetime through its eyes that can be read and understood by another soul floating with same momentum. When one soul acknowledges the other, the circuit for the flow of universal energy is completed, and the whole nature rejoices in harmony.
So, here I spread the message to follow the language of the universe rather than the languages created by mortal people, to seek the emotions in eyes rather than words from mouth, to read what is felt rather than what is written. May the mankind be enriched with such a code of conduct.
